We moved to the Derbyshire countryside in 2020. We're now part of the local community and know a lot of farmers! I help a farmer friend with his livestock (currently Lincoln Red cows, including Zippy the bull, and 5 bull calves) and we have 8 hens and a cockerel on the farm. Being at the farm, spending time with the animals is the best part of my day.
My husband, Chris, is completely blind and a Woodturner. Most recently, he's taken up painting. His Guide Dog is called Bamber. I manage Chris' business and we travel the UK (and occasionally, Europe) to give woodturning demos or for speaking events.
My phone is full of animal photos. I write, here and there, on various blogs.
